any jobs for my age? i'm experienced?	Can't Post

HI! I'm a 15 (almost 16 yr old) who is looking to work in a summer camp almost any where located in Texas. I have noticed camps are looking for counselors 18 and older. I do have experience for my age, last summer I was a counselor at a blind camp (my youngest camper was 24). I was also asked to camp back next year as program director. So if there are any summer camps that need counselors, I'd love the opportunity!

Hi paigepaz,

Unfortunetly most camps dont hire until you are 17-18, however you might be able to be a counsellor/leader in training next year (CIT/LIT). As a Leader in training, you are considerd a camper, but get some responsobilities of a staff. I was never in that program but I hear it is allot of fun, and if you do a good job you get to work as a counsellor the next year.
