The first time I went to Camp Conrad Weiser (CCW) I went for two weeks. It was the first time I had ever gone to a resident camp, and during the first full day it hit me that I wouldn't be able to see my mom for two weeks. The counselors helped me get over my homesickness. That summer I learned how to canoe, kayak, mountain board and I had a lot of fun doing it. The food at CCW is pretty good. At every meal there is water, milk, and a juice or lemonade type drink. At breakfast they'll have a cereal bar, a fruit bowl (bowl full of fruit), and something like waffles, pancakes, french toast, eggs, sausage. At lunch there'll be a salad bar, fruit bowl, maybe soup, sandwiches, etc. At dinner there will also be a salad bar and a fruit bowl, also maybe baked ziti and vegetables or roast beef and mashed potatoes. Everyone gets enough food.
The activities are great. There are high and low ropes courses, climbing tower, mountain boarding, many sports, horse riding, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, different arts and crafts, dance and drama, outdoor living skills, and many more. During the evenings you might have a campfire, or a game with the whole camp or some thing with just your village.
