Pleasant Valley has provided a friendly, positive, and supportive atmosphere.  At the core of Pleasant Valley's rich tradition is the group living experience, offering an atmosphere of cooperation while stressing the worth of each individual.  Campers and staff from around the world joing together in creating a community of respect, teamwork, and self-discovery.  Girls have the opportunity to learn new skills, challenge themselves with different activities, forge bonds of friendship and develop lifelong interests.  Every girl participates in a well-rounded experience that consists of a broad range of activities.  Each session, campers select four activities to create their own schedule.
