This program is available only for High School students entering their Senior Year in September 2008.
NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts offers summer conservatory training for high school students at three renowned professional studios: (1) the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, famous for the “method” acting technique, classes include television/film, speech, and movement; (2) the Experimental Theatre Wing (ETW), including contact improvisation, character-based scene work, and extended vocal technique; and (3) musical theatre performance at the Collaborative Arts Project 21 (CAP21), including acting, dance, and vocal techniques. Similar courses in Dublin and Paris. A summer high school program in dramatic writing is also available, where students train in the basics of both screenwriting and playwriting. |
