Join us on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee for a unique summer experience. Brewster Academy Summer Session is a combination of academics and adventure education for students ages 12-17.
Our program is based on building important skills: reading, writing, research, organization, team building, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
Each student is provided with a Macintosh laptop for the duration of the program. Access to the World Wide Web and email is available from over 3,000 ports on campus.
Brewster is located in the picture-perfect village of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, a safe and cozy place, where the days are warm, and the nights cool, and the scenery and outdoor recreation unmatched.
Academic courses for credit include English as a Second Language, English (focusing on reading and writing skills) and Mathematics. Students have the option of choosing from experiential enrichment elective courses in science and the computer arts.
Afternoons are dedicated to recreation and adventure activities, including rock climbing, canoeing, kayaking, art, and field sports.
At Brewster, we believe a great summer program should provide an opportunity that combines life experience, mastery of skills, and global exposure. |
