| All rising ninth- through twelfth-grade boys and girls are welcome to apply for a two-week, residential, academic program on Gettysburg College’s beautiful campus.
What Academic Camps at Gettysburg College (ACGC) offers is one of the most enriching and popular summer programs in the country with eight different academic courses and limitless possibilities. ACGC matches each student’s potential and ability level with an outgoing, supportive and knowledgeable staff made up of young teachers and students with advanced degrees from all over the country. The experience, from the welcoming ceremony to closing party is designed to rekindle and foster the inquisitiveness in all students and return them to academia refreshed and excited. The summer staff comes from all over the county to be a part of ACGC and that draws students from all over the world.
The community that ACGC builds year after year truly connects with each student as they move on to college and other of life’s adventures. Their staff understand the pressures of modern academics and the act as guides and mentors while offering encouragement, support and knowledge, both in and out of the classroom. The program draws on the youthful energy of the staff because they know what it’s like to be a student and camper. But most importantly, they know what it’s like to be a teenager finding their way whether it’s socially or in the classroom. Every classroom and extracurricular activity is planned around physical and emotional safety to ensure you and your family has the best experience possible. Every year the College composes a fantastic team of Directors, Teachers and RAs and every year when the students arrive they become a family.
