Located just south of Hampden and west of Sheridan, Colorado Academy has offered summer activities for metro area youth since 1951. Young people come from as far as Evergreen and Parker, and a sizeable number of them are not students at Colorado Academy during the academic year. Summers at CA are much less formal. There is plenty of time for fun while being challenged either intellectually, or physically, or both. A top-notch staff conducts all of the programs. Two full-size gymnasiums, five large playing fields, a baseball diamond, dozens of classrooms, a theater, a brand new dining hall, three computer labs, spacious studio arts workrooms, a new facility for vocal and instrumental music and a state-of-the-art photography studio provide ample facilities for exciting and sophisticated programs.  With a wide variety of offerings from computers to circus, day camp to lacrosse, rock climbing to photography, truly, there is something at CA in the summer for every school-age individual.

Colorado Academy Summer Programs provides bus service to designated stops in the metro area, hot lunches, and extended care from 7 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.
