Horseback Riding Academy at Pali Overnight Adventures!

A summer paradise nestled in the San Bernardino Mountains in Southern California, Pali Overnight adventures offers a once-in-a-lifetime camping experience!

If you love horses, this specialty is for you! Learn riding skills such as trotting, cantering, and posting from expert equestrians. At the Riding Academy, you will learn to ride both English and Western styles, as well as what it takes to feed, groom, handle, wash, and care for horses.

Each camper is assigned their very own horse for the week so you can form a true bond and learn to enjoy the responsibilities of a horseman/horsewoman.

In the English portion of the program, you will learn proper form and technique, such as how to walk, trot, and canter in a formal manner, and how to guide your horse through challenging patterns like figure eights. In the Western portion, you will learn a more relaxed style and enjoy taking your horse on long and adventurous trail rides.

On the final day, you will enjoy Sierra's Great Western Adventure. During this extended trail ride and outdoor adventure, you will spend time with your horse on Water Tower Lane, enjoy a relaxing picnic with other horseback campers, take in spectacular vistas from the highest point at Pali Mountain, hear the scintillating "Legend of Pali's Gold" or other captivating stories of times gone by, and celebrate your unforgettable week together at the Pali Equestrian Center.
