THEATRE ARTS CENTER PERFORMING ARTS WORKSHOPS

2006 season will premier three new shows, including the US Regional Premier of Captain Louie, by WICKED composer, Stephen Schwartz.  Also the new Junior version of the Broadway hit, Suessical.  Choose the program and location best for you.

1. Musical Theatre Workshop & Performance Tour, Ages 5-15
   A "serious fun" program for talented 6-15 year old students, beginner to advanced, who are looking for a unique and professional performing arts experience.  Students perform completely staged musicals at two professional theatres--Sellersville Theatre & Bristol Riverside Theatre!  2005 summer students performed for over 4,500 theatregoers!   Includes classes in acting, musical theatre, voice, dance, on-camera, & more. Conveniently located in at Rte. 611 and Ferry Road in Doylestown.

2. TEEN MUSICAL THEATRE  ENSEMBLE &
   PERFORMANCE COMPANY
   A unique Theatre and Dance Workshop and Acting Ensemble for talented students ages 14-19 who are looking for a professional performing arts experience.  Includes Master Classes with Broadway Guest Artists.  Perform in TWO shows -- the U.S. Regional Premier of CAPTAIN LOUIE, a new musical from the composer of WICKED.  This will be the first production since the Off-Braodway premier in the fall of 2005!  The Ensemble also performs a music & dance revue, choreographed by professionals such as Danny Herman (Broadway Contact & Leader of the Pack),Angelo Fraboni (Broadway's “Jerome Robbins Broadway & The Full Monty”), Amy Karlein (42nd Street & Rockettes), Dirk Lombard (Broadway's Music Man).  See web site for a sampling of the professionals you will be working with.  Ensemble performs at the Sellersville Theatre & Bristol Riverside Theatre.   Produced by Theatre Arts Center, in Doylestown.  All teachers and directors are theatre arts professionals.  Artistic Directors: Kristine Lewis, Neal Tracy, and Robert Laconi.  By audition.
