GirlSummer is a dedicated to a supportive, stimulating and fun summer academic environment. Each session is two weeks long and all sessions are open to girls entering 7th – 11th grades. GirlSummer is dedicated to providing an exciting and stimulating academic environment, based on the philosophy that fun and learning go hand-in-hand in the summer.

 

    Young women come together—from across the world—to focus on five areas of development: learning, exploration, personal growth, friend-ships, and fun while living at one of the most prestigious independent schools in the country: Emma Willard School. These include a love of the life of the mind, a commitment to service, courage and confidence, grace and creativity, and collaboration and friendship. Known for its rigor, Emma Willard promotes intellectual curiosity and disciplined study habits through a challenging curriculum distinguished by a wide array of advanced placement courses and electives.
